Nice lookin' website.
Thanks for having Sideshow Five scheduled for 8:30. You need to post a bio on them though. They deserve 'explanation' as they are a unique blend of top-notch musicianship, classic (deep album) rock and blues.
We've been Poodie's regulars for many years and live music supporters for 35 years. We do not care for this split band, split schedule mess. It works at Saxon Pub (we are also regulars there), and other Autin bars, because they're in Austin and there are enough people to make up a variety of audiences.
Have a short opening act if necessary, but we want to see our favorite bands play entire shows.
We prefer Poodie's the was when Poodie was still involved. You also need to lose the large tables and get smaller ones to seat more individual parties.
The last time we were there the break music was strange too. But at least it's not Nashville country (barf). That would drive us away.
Thanks for listening.

I just heard about Poodies passing.I saw that Willie was coming out to Pozo in California at the end of this month and was looking forward to seeing him.I worked with him at the Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City. and can say that he was a great person and there was not a better tour manager in the business.God Speed my Friend.

I miss playing open mic Wednesdays with Mark Allan Atwood. I really enjoyed playing "On My Own" by B.W. Stevenson, with Mark playing harmonica.
Sharon Had fun last night- I would love to get back in and do some gigs for you. Please let me know... and I should have met the lady from Luchenbach- that would be a great gig too. Thanks Jerry

Hey, Poodie's! Please book the Footnotes [rock & roll-a-billy dance trio] for an upcoming show at your venue. Great support act for touring artist; also able to perform 1- or 2-hour showcase. Lots of fun! We are working on early 2013, and we can build a bill if you like.
I just want to thank sharon and ALL the locals for letting me be a part of the best club in this country....... There is no better way to send me back to florida then Bobby Boyd playing Sharons Bday. hope i don't get drunk, then again we all have hope.
